Public Observing at Siena College’s Breyo Observatory

November 8, 2024 @ 7:00 pm

We will observe Saturn, the Moon, and more distant objects through the capital region’s largest telescope.

The Breyo Observatory is located on the roof of the Roger Bacon building at Siena College. The observatory houses at 27.5-inch Planewave telescope. Come join us for a fun night of observing!

The event is weather dependent and will be canceled due to clouds and/or rain. We will send out an email on the day of the event if we have to cancel.

Please park behind Foy Hall or Morrell Science Center, and make your way to Roger Bacon hall. Come to the 4th floor and head to the eastern end of the hallway (elevator is available toward the middle of each floor). You will then see the ramp up to the observatory.
