Kate McDonnell & Her Right Hand Men – Album Release

Kate is joined by “Her Right-Hand Men” in celebrating the release of her 6th album entitled Trapeze, produced by singer-songwriter and oft-featured side musician Jimi Woodul, as well as Sam Zucchini (drums). Trapeze marks a sharp, fresh pivot from her former albums in its production and McDonnell/Lindley songwriting temperament, steering Kate into a beautiful new amalgam of thought and sound.

Kate McDonnell, singer-songwriter, plays her guitar upside down and backwards, and sings with her whole being. She has performed at the Newport Folk Festival and Kennedy Center and on the Mountain Stage radio program and WXPN’s “World Café.” Her award-winning songwriting has been singled out for praise by The Village Voice and the Boston Globe. She has 5 CDs to date, the last of which was recorded in 2021 and included such musical luminaries as Jerry Marotta and Tony Levin.
